E-mail hijacking and e-mail hacking is a threat that is spreading widely today. It works by using email spoofing, social engineering tool, or the following three techniques to insert a virus on your computer. Email Spoofing
In spoofing email, the spammer sends an email from a known domain, so the recipient opens the message thinking he knows the person. Such messages typically include suspicious links, suspicious content, transfer requests, and so on.

Hackers can hijack email accounts using a third technology that infects the system with viruses and other types of malware. With the help of viruses, hackers can use all passwords.
How to detect if your email has been hacked?
- The recipients of spam emails include a bunch of people you know.
- You try to access your account and the password no longer works.
- You try to access the “Forgot Password” link and it does not go to the expected email.
- Your Sent Items folder contains a bunch of spams you are not aware of sending.
Quick tips
If you think that the mail was hijacked, you need to do the following
- Change the passwords immediately.
- Notify your friends not to open links that they receive from your email account.
- Contact the authorities and report that your account has been hacked.
- Install a good antivirus on your computer and update it.
- Set up double authentication password if it is supported.
