Overview

According to the intent of the hacker system, hackers can classify them as different categories such as white hat, black hat, gray hat. These different words came from the bad guy wearing a black cowboy hat, the good man wearing a white hat, the side of an old Italian on the west side.

White Hat Hackers

A white hat hacker is also known as an ethical hacker. They did not intend to compromise the system, but as part of penetration testing and vulnerability assessment, they tried to find weaknesses in computers and network systems.

Moral hacking is not illegal, it is one of the important positions the IT industry faces. There are many companies that employ ethical hackers for penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.

Black Hat Hackers

Black hat hackers are also known as Crackers. Crackers are intended to gain unauthorized access to the system, hurt operations, steal confidential information.

Black hat hackers are always illegal and their intentions include corporate data theft, privacy violation, system damage, network communication prevention and so on.

Grey Hat Hackers

Gray hat hacker is combination of black hat and white hat hacker. They do not do malicious acts, but for fun, they use computer systems and security holes on the network without permission or knowledge of the owner.

Their intention is to reduce the owner's attention, to raise the owner's attention and express a little appreciation to the owner.

Red Hat Hackers

Scripting a kiddie is a non-expert who destroys a computer system using pre-packaged automated tools written by others.

Neophyte

Beginner's "n00b" or "beginner" or "green hat hacker" is a new hacker attacker with little technical or hacking knowledge and experience.

Hacktivist

Hacktivist are hackers who use technology to promote social, ideological, religious and political information. In general, most hacks include website pollution and denial of service attacks.
